Norm Sabin, Attorney

Norm Sabin combines a background in business with a wide range of legal and personal experience to provide his clients with a uniquely practical perspective.  He has been an attorney since 1994, and his desire for exclusive concentration on estate planning and elder planning resulted in the formation of Sabin & Associates, PLLC (now the Estate Planning Center), early in 2008.  He believes strongly in an ongoing relationship with clients, taking the time to get to know them and their unique situations so that he can work closely with them through the years.

Norm is licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, and is accredited by the Veterans’ Administration to assist veterans in obtaining Veterans’ Benefits.  He is a member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Georgia Bar Associations.    He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Tennessee as well as the U.S. District Courts, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims.

Norm received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and received his Juris Doctorate from Regent University. While in law school, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Regent Law Review. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Norm and his wife Pat enjoy spending time with their three children and their families, all of whom live in Tennessee.  He also enjoys a wide variety of activities, including golf, theater and concert events.

Pat Sabin, Office Manager

Pat joined the Estate Planning Center in 2012 to fill in temporarily and decided to stay. She delights in making everyone – clients and employees – feel like family. From her perspective, this is the best retirement job ever! Much of Pat’s pre-retirement career was spent as an executive and technical recruiter, working in different areas of the country and in several industries. This experience gives her the ability to be flexible and to relate to people of all ages, background, and cultures.

Pat has a love of learning that continues today. Although her Bachelor’s degree from Bethany College was in music, she has continued her education with classes in business, technology, and linguistics. When not working, Pat enjoys theater, reading, herb gardening, and jazz music. But most of all, she enjoys time with family. She and Norm feel very fortunate to have all their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren living in Tennessee.

Marci Harrell, Client Services Coordinator

Marci has spent much of her adult life being a stay-at-home mom to her three children. As her kids have gotten older, she has returned to working full time. She brings to us years of customer relations experience, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Marci is genuinely interested in knowing people and their stories. Everyone has a story to tell. She is a supporter to the core and loves being of service to both clients and the community.

While Marci is not native to Chattanooga, this is her chosen hometown. She enjoys taking in all of the adventures the area has to offer, some of which include family hikes, days at the lake, and nights spent downtown. Marci loves entertaining and is never happier than when her home is filled with friends and family.
